The Azimut W-55ft Motor Yacht (refitted 2024) works well for a small sunset cruise - up to 17 guests, with an open aft deck to watch the skyline light up as the day cools.

Three cabins with two bathrooms are handy for changing and a rest out of the sun, while the shaded aft deck sits low and close to the water. Coffee, a fridge and a fruit platter suit an evening on board, and a crew of two and a captain run a two-hour minimum from Dubai Harbour.

The run stays close to Palm Jumeirah with the Burj Al Arab catching the last light on the skyline - an unhurried evening for a small group rather than a fast tour of the coast.

Yacht rental terms & conditions

• Free cancellation up to 96 hours prior to the scheduled charter time.
• 50% of the total charter fee will be charged for cancellations made within 72 hours of the charter.
• 100% of the total charter fee will be charged for cancellations made within 48 hours of the charter.
• In the event that a sailing permit is not issued by the Coast Guard, the charter may be rescheduled or fully refunded.
• Coast Guard permits are issued by 09:00 on the day of the charter.
